1. What is DID?

DID is the abbreviation of DigitalInformationDisplay. It is a new generation of liquid crystal display technology launched by Samsung Electronics in 2006. It is widely used in LCD monitors in various fields such as security monitoring, information release, display system and commercial leasing of display devices. As its unique display technology, it differs from ordinary liquid crystal displays in that it improves the alignment structure of liquid crystal molecules and can be placed in a horizontal vertical ceiling. High brightness, high definition (1080P), long life, stable operation and low maintenance cost.

2. What are the advantages of DID over DLP and PDP?

DLP rear projection technology is too large in size and weight, and all key technical indicators are far less than liquid crystal and plasma. Long-term uninterrupted work will speed up the aging of DLP rear-projection bulbs. Because it has only a few thousand hours of life, if it runs 24 hours a day. The rear-projection bulb needs to be replaced in a few months. Plasma is not suitable for long-term display of static monitoring images due to large power consumption and heat generation, and it is severely burnt. After being used for splicing, the temperature rise of the whole machine is higher, which makes the equipment easy to burn. LCD is unique in flat panel display technology. Its thin thickness, light weight, low energy consumption, long life, no radiation, and excellent performance of various key performance indicators have made it the mainstream of development and the prospects are promising.

3.DID LCD can achieve seamless splicing it?

At present, the narrowest LCD panel is the 46-inch ultra-narrow DID LCD panel launched by Samsung. The upper frame is 2.4mm wide and the lower frame is 4.3mm wide. The theoretical value of physical seam is 6.7mm. The actual physical seam can be minimized. 7.3mm. However, the current seamless LCD splicing screen on the market refers to a 1.5mm DID LCD splicing screen.
