In August 26th, China's first generation of 8.5 generation thin film transistor liquid crystal display (TFT-LCD) glass substrate production line invested by China National Building Materials Group Kasen Technology Group Co., Ltd. successfully launched the disposable panel in Bengbu, laying a solid foundation for the batch production of the products.
TFT-LCD glass substrate is the key strategic material of the electronic information display industry, representing the highest level of modern glass industry in the field of large-scale manufacturing. The project adopts the core technology construction of electronic glass independently developed by China building materials Bengbu glass industrial design and Research Institute. It is the first generation of TFT-LCD float glass substrate production line in China. After many years of continuous research, the project team has conquered the chemical composition and formula of glass substrate which can meet the requirements of physical and chemical technology and process. We have developed a new technology of ultra-thin float with platinum channel with Chinese characteristics, and developed key installations such as melting furnace, tin bath, annealing kiln and so on. After mass production, the key raw materials of LCD panel industry will be accelerated and the international competitiveness of China's strategic emerging industries will be promoted.
