Industrial computer, also known as industrial control computer, is a category of electronic products. Industrial computer is rich in many kinds of electronic non-device materials. In many cases, it is impossible for an industrial computer manufacturer to develop and produce all materials by itself. Such as CPU, memory, hard disk, graphics card, sound card, COM interface, VGA interface, HDMI interface, audio headphone interface, USB interface, and motherboard control components, capacitors, resistors, etc.

Although the electronic components are produced by big-brand factories, sometimes it is impossible to guarantee the qualified status of each batch of materials before leaving the factory.
With the development of industrial control computers, the degree of integration of electronic products is getting higher and higher, the structure is more and more subtle, the process is more and more, the manufacturing process is more and more complicated, so that some latent defects will be generated in the manufacturing process. During the manufacturing of electronic products, product quality problems caused by unreasonable design, raw materials or process measures can be summarized into two categories:
The first category is that the performance parameters of the product do not meet the standards, and the products produced do not meet the requirements for use;
The second category is potential defects. Such defects cannot be found by ordinary testing methods, but need to be gradually exposed during use, such as unstable structure, soldering voids, poor matching of thermal resistance between chips and packages, etc.
Generally, such defects need to be activated (exposed) when the components are operated at rated power and normal operating temperature for about one thousand hours. Obviously, it is unrealistic for an industrial computer to test each component for one thousand hours, so thermal stress and bias need to be applied to it, such as high-temperature power stress test, to accelerate the early exposure of such defects. That is, to apply thermal, electrical, mechanical or multiple comprehensive external stresses to electronic products to simulate harsh working environments, so that latent failures of industrial computers can appear in advance.
Through room temperature, high temperature and low temperature aging, the defects of components, welding and assembly and other hidden dangers in the production process can be exposed in advance. After aging, electrical parameter measurement can be carried out to screen out the failed or changed components, and the product's Early failure elimination during normal use, from the front to ensure that the factory's industrial computer products can withstand the test of time.
Therefore, before the industrial computer leaves the factory, the factory has to do a basic room temperature aging test, and for some special requirements, a high and low temperature 7*24 hour aging test.
